Finally, after months of speculation, rumors, and reported leaks, Sony has confirmed that the company is planning an official deep dive into the PlayStation 5 tomorrow, March 18. According to a Tweet from PlayStation Europe, the reveal is set for 4pm GMT / 12pm ET with lead system architect Mark Cerny. The reveal can be streamed tomorrow on the PlayStation Blog.

Details remain a bit scarce, though the tweet does mention that the deep dive will include a look at the system architecture and how the console will “shape the future of games.” Many fans are holding out hope that Sony will go a step further than Microsoft did by announcing a price point for the system, a release date, as well as a game or two running on the hardware. At the very least, fans should expect to see the actual console as well as numerous features and the official hardware specs.
