As seen in the tweet below, Sony Interactive Entertainment is well aware that some are currently experiencing issues with PSN, but it looks as if the company has yet to determine where the problems are stemming from, much less when the service will return for everyone. That said, though, Sony is currently investigating, and the tech firm seems intent to seek and rectify whatever is causing the errors to persist.

While many are currently experiencing issues with areas of PSN such as Account Management, Gaming and Social features, PlayStation Now, and more, we decided to give it the old college try and see if our system is one of those affected by the outage. Fortunately for us, our PlayStation 4 was able to access everything that is currently listed as “experiencing issues” on the platform’s Network Service Status page, as one of the first tests was jumping right into a match of Fortnite Battle Royale to see if online gameplay is available.

As of writing, Sony has not given word as to when these PSN problems will be fixed and when the affected services will be back online for every user. When PlayStation Network went down earlier this week, the issues lasted for several hours, but that isn’t necessarily an accurate indicator of when the current situation for PSN will be resolved. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later, as gamers now have Dragon Ball FighterZ and Monster Hunter World to tackle.
