For Honor was actually the most played PS NOW title of February after coming in third back in January. This is a remarkable comeback considering the rocky launch it received in February 2017, especially since it topped Mortal Kombat X, which took the second position. Mortal Kombat X likely received a bump as players are likely preparing for the next installment, Mortal Kombat 11, one of the most anticipated titles of 2019.

Needless to say, these statistics speak to the popularity of the games and the service, which has the likes of Battlefield 4 (PS3), Dead Space 3 (PS3), and Mirror’s Edge (PS3) headlining the new PlayStation Now March games announcement. Other games added this month include the following:

A Bastard’s Tale (PS4) Battlefield 4 (PS3) Black Knight Sword (PS3) Black Mirror (PS4) Dead Space 3 (PS3) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot (PS3) Mirror’s Edge (PS3) Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 (PS4) NBA 2K18 (PS4) Pool Nation (PS3) Red Faction (PS2) WWE 2K18 (PS4)

Every PS2 and PS4 game added this month will be available to download to the subscriber’s PS4, but each can also be streamed if necessary. It seems safe to say that the addition of a few of these games will be well-received, as many may want to revisit the horror franchise in Dead Space 3 or play a classic Kojima work in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot prior to the launch of Death Stranding. After all, many consider MGS4 to be one of the greatest games of the seventh generation.

Regardless, many are like excited to see how PlayStation Now will extend into the next generation with the PS5. While not much is confirmed about the next-gen console yet, with all the rumors and speculation out there, there’s little doubt that the PS5 will pursue streaming games in some form.
