The exciting news comes directly from the PlayStation website, and confirms that registration is now open for PS5 pre orders. This isn’t the actual pre order yet, as there is still no indication of price or release date, but players wanting to get the PS5 as soon as possible will almost certainly have to go through this avenue.

Essentially, registering for this will enable the player to receive an email from PlayStation detailing what they need to do in order to pre order the PS5. It’s still unclear when these emails will be going out or how registrants will be selected for emails, though.
In addition to this, Sony revealed some new information about the PS5 pre order process, though most of this was already known or assumed. Notably, it does confirm that PS5 pre order supply will be limited at launch, meaning not everyone will be able to nab one on launch day. In order to do this as fairly as possible, players will need to have already registered and then respond to the email as quickly as possible. Registering doesn’t guarantee a pre order, as in the end it will be first come first serve.
Interested fans should follow the source link below to the registration page. All that is needed to get fully registered is a PSN account ID, and those that think they have a chance of being selected should keep a close watch on their associated email address within the coming days.
