As seen in the image below from the Redditor known as “khr1s,” PlayStation Plus might not only be giving subscribers Dark Souls 2 for free next month, but also Ubisoft’s first-person shooter Far Cry 4. What’s more is that Wish Studios’ multiplayer party game That’s You! could also be included in PlayStation Plus’ free games for February 2018. Of course, considering the fact that the picture comes from an unverified source, it’s important to take the leak with a grain of salt.
Should one inspect the details of the above image a little bit more closely, if Dark Souls 2 is offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers, it might actually be the game’s Scholar of the First Sin version. For those unaware, Dark Souls 2’s Scholar of the First Sin is a special edition of the title that contains the base game, as well as the three previously released DLC packs, Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown of the Ivory King.
While it’s easy to get excited about these details, it’s best to remain skeptical about the aforementioned titles being included in the list of free games for PlayStation Plus in February 2018. Nevertheless, should the leak be real, then it wouldn’t be the first time that Sony has given out a couple of major mainstream releases as thanks for subscribing to the premium service. After all, the free games for January 2018 included the likes of Square Enix’s Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Telltale Games’ Batman: The Telltale Series.
PlayStation Plus’ free games for February 2018 have yet to be officially revealed.
