Each month, a new set of PlayStation Stars collectible rewards is made available. In November, these celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Ratchet and Clank series and the launch of God of War Ragnarok, which came out on November 9 and is already a Game of the Year nominee for multiple award ceremonies. The PlayStation Stars rewards are relatively easy to unlock, usually simply requiring people to play a game from a thematic selection; sometimes just hopping into any PS4 or PS5 game of choice is sufficient.

The next round of rewards for PlayStation Stars has been revealed for December 2022 via the official PlayStation blog. From December 1, members can play any game on their PS4 or PS5 to unlock an homage to the T-Rex from the PS1 Dinosaur tech demo, which is different from the one available when the Stars program first launched. There will also be a digital version of the PS3 Wonderbook, an augmented reality book that was released in 2013 for use with the PlayStation Move and PlayStation Eye, available to collect.

Also unlockable from the beginning of December is the Immortal Digital Collectible, which continues the Fight of the Month Club challenges from previous months. PlayStation Stars members can earn this prize by playing Under Night In-Birth, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, Street Fighter V, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 11, or Tekken 7.

Beginning on December 6, those who are also subscribers to Sony’s PlayStation Plus can earn up to 50 points by simply playing any of the games offered in this month’s lineup. The PlayStation Plus free games for December 2022 are Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and Biomutant. These points can be exchanged for digital collectibles, games, or to add funds to the PlayStation Network wallet.

And later in the month, though the date has not yet been announced, PlayStation Stars members who launch any of the following multiplayer games will earn some loyalty points: It Takes Two, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Destiny 2, Diablo 3, Divinity: Original Sin 2, or A Way Out. The number of points players can obtain hasn’t been clarified at present.
